The FreeStyle Libre 3 is Abbott's latest continuous glucose monitor, featuring the smallest and thinnest sensor available. It provides real-time glucose readings every minute via Bluetooth to your smartphone. The Libre 3 is FDA cleared for ages 4 and older and lasts 14 days without fingerstick calibration. It's generally more affordable than Dexcom, making it a good option for cost-conscious users. The LibreLink app syncs data to Apple Health, and the LibreLinkUp app allows caregivers to receive glucose readings and alerts remotely. Note: Unlike Dexcom G7, Libre 3 does not have direct Apple Watch integration - you'll need your iPhone nearby to see readings.
